Jumpstart your morning: Monday Music

I got up this morning, and while making breakfast I plugged in my ipod shuffle to charge it for a run... I decided to look at my music folder and was just curious what my most played song was, it happens to be Phantogram. Same with my second most played song. Mouthful of Diamonds is a song that I would binge on while I waited for the subway daily in NYC. I can't even limit myself to that one song because the whole Eyelid Movies track list is spectacular.

I was actually introduced to Phantogram awhile back when I was living in Minnesota and it came on a beloved radio station 89.3 the current, a public radio station that plays up and coming local and national artists. I had to hunt them down.

Thankfully this morning I looked at my most played, because I completely forgot to tell the world that they released an EP November 1, which is a big deal because it is an awesome follow up to their first musical creation. The new Nightlife-EP is one for the books. Look them up, and enjoy their tunes. There is something so rhythmic it can set your whole day in motion.
